 Founded
in 1948, Performance Steel is
located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
approximately 25 miles Southeast of
Nashville. The original focus of the
company was blacksmith work and farm
equipment repair. However, the past 45
years have been dedicated to the fabrication
and installation of structural and
miscellaneous steel.
 Completed
projects have been designed for a variety of
uses. These include
buildings for
education and industry;
religious facilities;
and commercial,
hospital,
and institutional
buildings. We have successfully
completed several different renovation
projects in metropolitan downtown areas.
While our customer base has been primarily
Tennessee, we have completed work in most of
the Southeastern states.
 Performance
Steel takes very seriously its

are often involved in design-build work and
take extra efforts to control high costs
associated with complex designs. We
